Variety I failed to get the information for the caption. I will get this ASAP. This artwork shows a wide range of variety using color, lines, and texture. The most obvious form of variety in this composition is color. There is a large spectrum from red to violet which makes the art very interesting and pleasing to the eye. The gradient colors from one line to another adds texture, we see many times many shades of green, blue, or pink. The gradients are then dimmed with the grey-scales throughout the image. They make the vivid colors even brighter but the image as a whole is easier on the eyes. Diagonal, horizontal, and vertical lines pull your eyes through the entire composition so you see all of the different colors and gradients. They also give a three-dimensional effect, creating box and stair-like structures.
