This image shows depth through a vanishing line into the horizon


This image shows depth throughout the center of the image by having a vanishing point that moves out to the horizon which creates a great sense of depth. By having this triangularly shaped river we believe that even though this image is two-dimensional it seems like a three-dimensional landscape.

HW9-Color Inspiration

Color Inspiration Communication Arts July/August 2009 Pg. 93 I was attracted to this piece because of the slightly muted colors and the abstract of the water-like waves. This image has a somewhat analogous scheme and the yellow and blue compliment each other very well. These colors are muted but at the right side of the spectrum to still be vibrant.
